too slow upload?
« on: October 06, 2004, 04:06:49 PM »

hello

i'm still using rc5 ...

just a little question: i'm behind a nat/firewall/traffic shapper (university network)
in my preferences i have 50 kb/s upload and 5kb / Slot , uploading to 10 ppl, 100 ppl in my upload-list

but neraly none of the people actually get the 5 kb/s (no it's not the prob of my connex, i have enough uploadbandwidth and downloadbandwidth)

like now it's about 25 kb/s up and the same amount down
but the upload never gets bigger than 30 kb/s :(

any suggestions?
is this a known bug?
did i forgot something?

Maybe your university's traffic shaper is doing that with the P2P traffic. Try using non-standard ports for aMule. Anyway, I think 30kB/s is not bad upload...everybody gives what he/she can...

Regards.

i'm sure it's not the traffic shapper cause emule used up all bandwidth which i gave it :)

strange thing si that it seems like some ppl getting 0.0 kb/s upload serveral minutes and after t5hat they go up in speed again .. even sometimes to 10-12 kb/s
