amule crash

Hi there, I've installed all the packages for aMule and then I've installed it using rpm packs.
Then I started it by: amule &
and it wrote "your destinations are changed" and "oops! seems like amule crashed"
Any suggestion?
I had used "lmule" and "xmule" before it. Thanks

try moving your .eMule file in your homedir someplace else...and restart amule

that should work...

if it works after moving that file, please post it in the backtraces forums. I realy mean, PLEASE do it :) (but only if moving it somewhere else worked)

    and if I chage or remove my emule it still doesn't work and write me that..

rm ~/.aMule/credits.met

That will make it work 99% sure

...and it's 'A'mule, not 'E'mule ;P

if you have ever used aMule before, (any version) you surely have that file.
BUT, have in mind that linux is case sensitive, so ~/.aMule/credits.met is NOT the same as ~/.amule/credits.met
so copy&paste&execute:
rm ~/.aMule/credits.met
on an xterm or some console window
