Saving Directory
« on: October 15, 2004, 08:19:28 PM »

Dear group, i'm new to Amule but i have it up and running on Knoppix.  But,, i have set a directory to save to,  home/Myname/music.

However the saves are always in home/MYNAME/amule/temp.  It seems as thought the settings wont "stick"

Any advice welcome

Thank you

temp != incoming ;)

when the dl is complete, it will be saved in the dir you've chosen as your incoming dir

Completed files go into the incoming dir (in yuor case: /home/Myname/music )
Non-completed files go into the temp dir, which by default is ~/.aMule/Temp (in your case: /home/MyName/.aMule/Temp )

My Apologies, the files are going into amule/incoming, but they are not going into MYNAME/music when they're completed. i have to move them there myself.
