Downloaded files all damaged ?
« on: November 05, 2004, 12:13:59 AM »

Hi everyone,

after upgrading to rc7, all files I download don't seem to work.
Archives can only be opened on my linux box.
On my Windows workstation these archives appear damaged.
Avi files seem corrupt as well.
The media player on my Windows machine can't seem to render the file although all necessary codecs are installed.

Can anyone give an explanation for this strange behaviour ?

Kind regards,

Graymalkin

I don't think so.
The files I download on Windows are okay.
All files I download using bittorrent on my linux box can be opened on the Windows machine.
So I gather it has to do with amule 2rc7

Moving/Sharing files is working fine here between lin/win. It's not an aMule problem 90% sure ;) Maybe soething broken on your system (recompile kernel?)... just a guess.
Greetings!
