i installed amule step by step like it says on the instructions with the rpms and this is what i get when i try to launch it :

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified


Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0

are you running aMule with
a) different user?
b) outside an X environment?

those messages are due to a bad configuration of your system. not aMule's fault.
try runnin "xhost +" and then amule from the same console window and see if ti works.

or maybe u'r trying to run amule as root.. bad
