amule connecting too fast
« on: December 19, 2004, 06:56:02 PM »

I'm sent this message occasionally ("amule connecting too fast, you will get banned") but I don't know what to do about it. How do I correct this problem? Is it something to do with my connection speed? My firewall? By the way, aMule behaves rather erratically with wild jumps in speed and little or no download at the beginning of a session though I do have high ID. Thanks for any replies.

The message is due to a misconfigured client. Not yours, (probably) but the client sending the message. Just ignore it. For the speed, and amule not downloading at the start of a session, this is normal, just go and read the way amule/emule work.

Regards.
