about free disk space
« on: December 20, 2004, 11:15:21 PM »

I don't know if is amule related or is a linux kernel bug, anyway here's the problem:

I use amule 2.00 rc6 on a 2.4.26 linux box.

I have an hard disk of 60 gb; now, when I check my disk usage with "df", I see that I have 13 gb used and 40 free. Anyway, the amule temp directory (where part and met files are), is 32 gb... there's something wrong.

I tried to sync, but nothing.

Does anyone have the same problem? What the hell could it be?

thanks for the help!

Those 32gb arn't really allocated, aMule fills them as new chunks are downloaded.

For more info search on google fro Sparse files
