aMule 2.0.0rc8 using wxGTK1 v2.4.2

hi,
 
why do you run amule as root? its actually not the pb that caused the crash, but its very insecure

2. what linux distri do you use

How did I forget my distory *hits head on desk*
Fedora Core 3

it was on r00t becuase I was doing some stuff in ruit, and just ran it any ways. Also I was SU'ing

then plz do:

rpm -qa | grep wx

i suppose its the FC3 pack from our dl page, right (except for wxBase-static-2.4.2-1) ?

oh well, bad :)
plz use always amule + wx needed for it from us - and it shouldn't crash anymore ;)

can you uninstall all the wx stuff + amule and dl + install those:
