aMule 1.2.1 crash - what happened
« on: December 23, 2003, 07:28:04 AM »

I'm writing this, not because i know what really happened, but because i hope, what i saw, may help you solve some problems...

aMule 1.2.1 is the best Mule ever, but it's still not perfect...

I was adding some new files to download, and i saw, some files were paused, some stopped, even tho i didn't ever stop or pause them. I tried to make them continue... Nothing happened
Then i saw, some files didn't have priority at all... The text was empty...
I tried to set priority to "normal". That worked, but then i got a crash...
I tried that again after some days, and the same happened

Could there be something in priority/pause/stop handling what makes the program crash?

Your getting stopped/paused files cos you run out of diskspace. You cannot resume them because of the known 'diskspace bug'.

You'll have to restart amule after freeing disk space to be able to resume them....

About the crash, we might need more info ;)

Hi catface,

Can you please :

- shutdown aMule.
- edit ~/.eMule file
- replace CheckDiskspace=1 by CheckDiskspace=0 in this file, save the file and restart aMule.
