amule stable at last???? :P
« on: January 17, 2005, 02:38:08 PM »

Hi!

I'm using aMule-cvs-20050115.tar.bz2 on Mandrake 10.0 at the mo and its been running non stop for over 2 days! I'm really impressed!

Its nice to know that should I get any probs I can use a newer build!

Many thanks amule development team!

I salute you!

Got 4 non stop days out of release 14! now trying build 15.

The webserver bombed straight away on startup tho. Not to worry will try recent build if I get probs!

Things are certainly improving in the stability stakes!

Why are these people still using the 2.0rc8 version?    8o

heho

with webservers straig away crash it could be that you are trying to use the webserver from rc8 with the amule from cvs,

that would definetly crash right away, so make sure that you use cvs-webserver with cvs-amule and it should not crash

Hi stefanero!

I realised that and rebuilt everything in the package including amule web on the newer versions. sub build 15 didnt crash when I ran it but when I did a search and tried to get the results back via the web browser.

It also crashed amule as well. Still I will soldier on and move up to the latest release on the daily tarball link if I get probs and post my backtraces.

Cheers.
