cannot see my own shared files?

Hi,

I've installed aMule on mdk 10.1 and it works fine, except that when I start downloading a file, it doesn't show up when I press the 'shared files' button. In fact, there are no files listed. What's worse, according to my statistics I don't seem to upload either...?

What can I do?

Where first is quite good explain the second: no shared files, there's nothing to upload. Go check you preferences.
BUT: "Incoming" directory is always shared. So, after you downloading some parts of file, they are shared (and can be uploaded) but not listed as "shared files"

OK, if they're supposed to be listed as shared - like they indeed are in eMule  on Windoze... well, that's exactly my problem: I've downloaded some parts of a file (about 5Mb of a 40Mb file), so I would expect that file to show up as shared when I press the button. Not so... and my UL : DL ratio is 1:197 !!

I have the vague feeling that the two things are connected.

Any suggestions?

Part = 9.28Mb contiguous data.


As in eMule.

Until 1 part is completed AND hashed, we can't share it (for obvious reasons)

I see. Indeed, now that the first part is downloaded completely, I can see it in the shared files, and my UL : DL ratio is also moving to something more reasonable.
