Aborted downloads should be marked
« on: February 14, 2005, 12:18:59 AM »

Hi,
we have the successfull downloaded files marked green and the currently downloading file marked red in searches list.
I have often the Prob, something I'm donwloading disappears, and there are no longer any sources. I abort the download, and chosse a different file. If this is done 2 or 3 times, I can't remember all files that don't work. Many files have only a different hash, but the same name, and it is possible, that you start a file you aborted some days ago.
I would suggest grey for those files.

in other words: a blacklist feature. similar to what ed2k_gui has. blacklist is a more general facility since you can blacklist any files deliberately not only those aborted ones.

Why is it not implemented? Too hard to code?

Lack of time and more important stuff right now? At some point, we will ahve to make a release, and we can't if we keep adding stuff, that might bring new bugs. Quality vs fancy features.

It will be done, but not right now...

So hopefully sometime someone has time to do... It would be good for the network when people do not download wrong files again and again...

Arichy, you did a good job finding just the right time speaking up to make Kry absolutely right again.  ;D

It will be done, but not right now...

I can give it a try - after the next release.
