Webserver templates
« on: March 03, 2005, 08:30:00 PM »

It seems that aMule-cvs-20050302 at least has different behaviour with the aMule.tmpl and webserver directories.

I run with a modified webserver template with darker colours and different images. Since I upgraded to this CVS version, these are all *ignored* by amuleweb.  The webinterface now runs with the default template and images, and even if I remove aMule.tmpl and the webserver subdirectory, the webinterface is still set to the default.

Probably I have to replace the template and images in the source, and recompile amuleweb. I'll give that a try and report

No, the old template seems hard coded. Any idea how to change it?

boutros,

the template isn't hard-coded. It's just that webserver's template finding mechanism has changed from CVS 2005.02.27. Read more in the wiki: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Webserver

You can install your template to $HOME/.aMule/webserver//, and run webserver as amuleweb -t . If == "default", then you may omit the -t thing. Note, that all files must be under the above directory, and the .tmpl file must have the name aMule.tmpl.

Btw, amuleweb -v will show you where it tries to find the template...

I hope I could help you.

boutros, since you made this nice theme a couple months ago, can you maybe have a look at the changed aMule.tmpl and update your theme?
since i really like it, but things have changed a lot, and I doubt that it still works completly

thnx

Well I got most things working.

Something seemed to have broken the feature where currently downloading files are highlighted in yellow. That's fixed.

Search now works, which is nice.

Most things seem to work, apart from Server selection (i.e changing servers from the web interface). Perhaps someone could take a look? I'll keep looking at it tonight.
