« on: March 13, 2005, 05:34:04 PM »

Hello,
I have installed amule on my machine last monday, it worked well for three days and since that day I allways have this message

I tried to reinstall amule but it's the same thing and I can't upload servers list at all
What can I do to resolve this problem

Thanks

go to your .aMule directory in your homedir of the user that runs amule, and delete teh server.met in there

then restart amule

Althogh I remove server.met, I have the same error. I tried to completely remove aMule, I mean all directories and files and I re-installed it, but I had the same thing, it always says that the file server.met is corrupted

did you not just remove the rpm, but also remove teh .aMule direcotry?

since in our rpms (as far as I remeber) when you start amule for the 1st time there is no server.met

I think the problem isn't within aMule, because I tried to connect with another computer and I had exactly the same error so I think that it concers our network here in Tunisia.

Thanks for all and I hope it will work as soon as possible :)

you maybe need a proxy server?
in current cvs tarballs you have the opertunity to specify them, in rc8 this was not implemented yet
