amule instalation

I'm sorry for a VERY dumb question.. for sure...
but i have no idea how to install amule in fedora2.
Is anyone here can write Step by Step instalation ? How -do ?
it can be very usefull and i will also give this to my friends.. with full credit to the author...

10nx guys... i just cant install it...

Get wxWidgets RPM, get aMule RPM and install them.
It's quite the same, as in Fedora Core 3.

to install an rpm:

rpm -ihv

  • You have to get rid of your previuos wxWidgets: rpm -qa | grep wx
    This will show you a list containig some wxGTK-*, wxBase-* packages. Uninstall them all with rpm -e --no-deps
  • Download our clean wxWidgets RPMs from http://www.amule.org/files/files.php?cat=12. You will need wxGTK and wxBase
  • Install them: rpm -Ivh
  • Download aMule from http://www.amule.org/files/files.php?cat=15
  • Install it with rpm -Ivh
  • It might ask for another packages, then download them aswell, and install as above. Then retry installing aMule.

Where is the installed files located ?
i'm trying to run amule &
and recieving bash command not found

try to run them directly
/usr/bin/amule
or
/ust/local/bin/amule
or look in menu->internet, there sould be a shortcut to amule

downloaded  amule.rpm into /home/amule.rpm
rpm -uhv amule.rpm

and now i can't find him.
dont need restart or something. right ?

dir amule DOESNT exist in /usr/bin/amule

and i work from root akk (btw)...

You shouldn't 'cd' into them!
Just type '/usr/local/bin/amule' after prompt!
