Slot allocation
« on: January 04, 2004, 11:43:05 PM »

ok, I'll explain it in english.
If I set 15kb/s as upload limit, and 3kb/s as slot allocation, I have 5 clients downloading from me at 3kb/s, and that's ok. But if I set 10kb/s in slot allocation, I'd like to have at least one client downloading at 10kb/s and other two clients sharing the remaining 5 or 6 kb/s. (I can upload at 16kb/s at max). What I get, instead, is 3 client downloading at 5kb/s each one.
I think that it would be a useful feature.

thx, i got it ;)

what u mean is dynamic upload (or smth like that) .. we don't have it (yet?) ..
slot alloc is only for X kb/s / client and if u don't have enough speed the clients share your up like u just saw
