Might have been caused by my own cluelessness. It's a rare occasion until now aMule didn't like to crash down upon me - at least this way. Usually it was caused by symptoms I'd attribute to memory leaks or alike (upload slowly dying, generally becoming very unresponsive until nothing works except a kill), but it was nothing that cought my special attention because i know this is work-in-progress and perhaps being worked on. Also I didn't get any crash-like output of the program itself. Whatever, this is different. Hope it helps, i'll consider using gdb soon.
Btw, a big up for your work, didn't expect the changes from rc8 to current cvs to be this great and awesome. And yes, i'm (ab)using the experimental .debs of Vollstrecker and i'm running this n00bposixcompliantsystem called by the name of Ubuntu.
