*.ini files
« on: April 17, 2005, 09:47:19 PM »

Hello,
I have this version of aMule in my Slackware and that's all fine. I've installed now in Suse 9.2 from a RPM package and in works fine too. But there is something that is annoying me. In Suse all the *.ini files of aMule are spread all over my personal directory. I've tried to change that but I haven't find a way. Can someone help me with the task?
Thanks.

Since aMule looks for all the user files (what you call *.ini files) at /home/User/.aMule, you should create this subdirectory, move there the files and see what happens. Also look at the Prefs section 'directories'. These are the files:

subdirectories:
incoming
Temp

files:
addresses.dat
emfriends.met
known.met
preferences.dat
clients.met
lastversion
server.met
ipfilter.dat
logfile
server_met.old
cryptkey.dat
known2.met
muleconn
shareddir.dat
