now this is a bigger problem
« on: April 20, 2005, 01:01:07 PM »

Suddenly my aMule starts with this error message:
Port 4662 is not available!
But I have system-config-securitylevel AND my router Virtual servers configured to have this port open, and it worked for a while, I had High Id, etc. I also get this server message: your IP has been blacklisted What can have happened?

I tried disabling the firewall service iptables, and it worked again. I'm doing something wrong with the network config, but what?

well :)

fc has a firewall admin control panel, probably this is not right configured. ;)
btw a router is also a firewall, so you could leave teh linux firewall turned of if you want....

I had same problems when I used rc8 version. Try out CVS!
By the way, port was not aviable only when aMule wasn't shut down properly (eg. killed).

Maybe your ISP has blocked port 4662, try changing it.
