I'm using aMule 2.0.0r5 under Debian 3.0 (woody) since a month and i like it!
the difficult thing to do is the client/users management. the chat/friends window is to be redesigned in my opinion
i want to add my top uploaders (people that send to me) as friends and check theirs values, even if they are not in friend list or online.
the best way to do it is have a table with all known clients: an icon that dislplay the on-line and friedship status, the name, 2 columns with upload/download values and may be a last seen column. This may be too heavy for the GUI, so may be splitted in more tables/categories (friends and not, online and not, recents, top uploaders..).
the rest of the window is split in chat windows and client details of the selected user.
Thanks to the developers for the wonderful job and i hope that a complete core-gui separation will arrive soon
