Better handling of remotefilesystems
« on: April 29, 2005, 02:30:00 PM »

Hi,
I know, that smbfs under linux can only handle files <2GB. Yesterday I tried to download a file with 2.04 GB. I just thought that maybe the limit is a little bit higher. I know that many ppl out there don't know that there are probs on this fs, so I ask, if amule could reject to download files greater 2 GB if the shared- or Tempfiles dir is on a smb share (or some other that have such a prob).
Or maybe there is a chance to set special Tempfolders per file, so I could place such files somewhere local.
