IP problem?
« on: May 01, 2005, 10:29:54 PM »

Good evening,
With the system Linux 10.1 Mandrake... :
My connection with internet VDSL is very correct.
However from the time I connected with this new vdsl
system , when I try t o make an "A mule connection",
I'm directly rejected of the server under the reason of  "black IP"....???
what's that?
I tried with different servers and I became the same result...
And when I start a windows XP session I can connect Emule
without difficulty.
I do not understand this IP problem.
Hope a response and thank you.
Ferre.

Hello,
Very sorry I meaned effectively "Black listed".
I did'nt remember the right word because the servers are closing very rapidly.
What is the reason of this reject....?
If I make a new search on the forums with the correct formulation "black listed"
I'll become more chance to resolve this problem...

"Black listed" basically means that the server has banned you, most likely for making too many connection attempts. I'd wager that you would be able to connect again if you were to wait a day or so.
