Huge fonts (Debian unstable)

Here's a screenshot of what my aMule looks like. Ugly ugly. I tried the fix described in the Debian fonts HOWTO, and on Google's suggestion I tried editting all of the /etc/gtk/gtkrc's that may apply, nothing. I remember having this problem before, and somehow it went away, but I don't remember how.

did you try a gtk-theme switcher for gtk1.2?

and maybe try to play a bit with kde-control-center

OK, the GTK 1.2 theme switcher allows me to choose smaller fonts.

Try the gtk-qt-engine theme switcher. It's much better giving you better control over gtk appearance...
