lol
what guide are you actually talking about?!  ?(

and on most operating systmes, its just "click and intsall" so I dont know where your problem is...

and if you would come here and ask for help, someone could explain the parts of whatever guide a little more in detail for you....and maybe then you get it to work :))

anyway have fun

Amazing that some people spend the time to register just to shamelessly show how... stubborn they are.

im talking about This 1

And if ppl come here with lots of questions probably smething stinks ...
Its too much complicated, life whould be easier with the right guide ...

"Install MinGW Studio, add Zlib and Curl compiled libs in The MinGW Studio tree" ; what the hell is MinGW Studio ? there is no such file in the downloads list, where i should add Zlib files exactly to ? and what the hell Curl is ??

^^ and thats only from one line ...

this new release of urs ; amule-2.0.1-2.rtr205.i586.rpm (mandriva 2005LE) » 4593 Downloads  , how the hell i open rpm files ??

Anyway i got the 2.0.0 client , cose it was under .rar, i though it should work , but when extract it , entering the folder and pressing double click on the amule (windows installer patch) i get an error msg ; "the patch couldnt be opened. contact the application vendor to verify that this is a vaild wondows installer patch package"

And i got this msg right after installing all the files from the download list at http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_compile_on_Win32

!!!Noobs always suffer!!!

ahh ok so 1st you are on windows :)
so you are not used to howtos, well I guess that comes from teh nature of the operation system you use, but thats not our fault actually....

this guide is also actually for --> compiling <-- amule, for you should be enought to run the amule-binary from the rar file

what kind of windows do you use? XP? 98? 2k ?

stefanero

PS: rpms are linux binaries, and mandrive is a linux distribution ;) maybe google the next time...

here is a link
http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=73

hope it works ;)

You could probably STFU next time instead of flaming. If you can't understand the word "Compile" on the title "How to compile for Win32" then I wonder how can you even type on a keyboard. Seriously.

Open http://www.amule.org, click on "downloads", now choose the "windows installer", which, btw, it's an .exe than when run, installs aMule on your windows system.

Now, I wonder if it's a problem or "too compilated guide" or "Not enough fool-proof site" One would wonder "download" and "windows installer" would be self-explanatory but seems not... let's just think you're just an statistical failure on the average IQ and leave it like it is now.

1. You're rude.

2. If it's too difficult for you, maybe you should stick with eMule which designed for people that cannot/will not read manuals.

3. If you ask for help, you usually get it here unless you're whining about not being able to read.

4. There IS NO windows installer. Did you miss that part or did you ignore it?
