Not starting
« on: June 07, 2005, 10:13:55 PM »

I used rc7 on MDK 10 and worked perfectly.
I installed 2.0.1 and got this error message :

amule: relocation error: amule: symbol _ZNSt15_List_node_base4hookEPS_, version GLIBCXX_3.4 not defined in file libstdc++.so.6 with link time reference

Installing 2.0.2 didn't change anything.

Any idea ?

After installing 10 I had even a 'longer' error message so I installed 10.2 and got back to the original error message.

well the length or the error msg does not mean that is worse....
stick to the rpms which belong to your system, maybe you shoudl reinstall the 10.0 pkg and post the long error msg here ;)

I installed amule 2.0.2 for MDK 10.0 but wxGTK pkg are only for 10.1 and 10.2 and got this :

amule: relocation error: /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2-2.6.so.0: symbol _ZNSt15basic_streambufIcSt11char_traitsIcEE7seekoffExSt12_Ios_SeekdirSt13_Ios_Openmode, version GLIBCXX_3.4 not defined in file libstdc++.so.6 with link time reference

well this is due to the fakt that mdk 10 probably used a different gcc then 10.1 so this does not work...
have you tryed the wxGTK and wxGTK-devel version 2.4.2 which are on our dl page? those are genenric once and should work on any mdk...
only thing I dont know is if the amule-2.0.2 is linked aginst wx-2.6 then this would NOT work,
you can write maybe an PM to wardevil and ask him....what wxGTK he used, that would probably be the best and fastest way...
or compile it yourself ;)

Just updated libstdc to last version and worked fine (I KNEW IT !!!)
Now I've just to find out how to set up amule with the proxy support.
Can't find any config explanation about the so-called low-id-under-steroid

Ok, now you are talking to me :)
What do you want to know? Maybe you should start a new thread, don't you think?

Cheers!
