amulegui doesn't create ~/.aMule
« on: June 09, 2005, 04:18:00 PM »

I use the Debian CVS packages.
I have installed amule-remote-gui on the PC that I use to control the server.

If I start amulegui there is an error msg about .aMule/preferences.dat.
$ mkdir .aMule
resolve the problem.

Ah, there was also an error about shareddir.dat, and in fact after I create ~/.aMule it creates shareddir.dat.
Why is shareddir.dat needed on the PC that isn't running aMuled?
