aMule 2.0.3 Released!
« on: June 16, 2005, 02:35:10 AM »

Better some hours late than endless "soon", huh?

There it is, aMule 2.0.3 is out, named The "Hell 2.0.3: Now with improved daemons!" version.

This release is, among other things, focused on amule daemon great socket improvements (check it out!) and fixes the webserver and EC passwords on 64 bits archs, solaris compilation and enables webserver on Mac.

As every 2.0.x release, this is not a release to be in the bleeding edge - that's what CVS is for. This is a stable and friendly release (shamelessly copied from previous post).

Want to read the changelog? Here is the place.

What, you just care about dowloads? Then click here.

You think Kry spends less and less time on every new release post? It's 3am, dammit!

Following our current release scheme, we release tarball and some binaries (Mac, some rpms, etc), and the rest of them will follow soon (as soon as the packagers do them!).

NOTE: All that people that downloaded 2.0.3 tarball before this news post was here, you better download it again. There was a tarball up on berlios for some time that had a serious bug (the one that delayed the release) that made it crash at startup. Blame volpol :P

I dunno if that was the objective of the release, i just know that i love it! Tks!  :baby:

I've downloaded but I'm not running it yet. A question: will I lose my current downloads as I launch the new version?
Thanx for it anyway

Does aMule 2.0.3 not obey the Download limits or shows Download Stats wrong.
My limits are set 16/4 KB/s but mostly i see higher upload stats.

As always get them there:

or add my hole repository

urpmi.addmedia andyrtr http://ftp://mandrivauser.de/rpm/GPL/andyrtr/2005/RPMS/ with hdlist.cz
