First off, aMule and indeed all eDonkey2000 clients are capable of downloading multiple files from multiple sources at a time. However, just because you have sources, it does not mean that you can start transferring, this is because you obviously are not the only one asking, so you have been put in a queue by the sources you are asking. Thus those sources will only start uploading to you when your turn comes.
