Crashes on Jaguar (MacOS 10.2.8)
« on: September 05, 2005, 03:57:39 AM »

Hi all,

I downloaded the last version of aMule, 2.0.3 and when I launch it, automatically it stops...

Its icon appears on the dock, and it desappears...

The question is if there's a proccedure to run aMule, or if I need an old version.

Thanks!

P.S.: My computer is a PowerMac 8100, 304Mb RAM, 300MHZ PowerPC 604ev running OS X via XPostFacto.

The only chance amule would work under 10.2 is if you compile it yourself (or have somebody compile it) under 10.2, but I'm not even sure if that would work. (see here)

Looking at your hardware specs I have a strong feeling that amule would not run decently on your machine anyway. The only ed2k client I can think of that would run OK on your machine is mldonkey, which would probably take about 5-15% of your CPU.
