Startin impossible?!
« on: October 07, 2005, 12:06:34 AM »

Well... i can't start e-mule...

When I try it, I just see the jumping donkey but after some time he vanishes and... well... no reaction at all, no program running, no error message, nothing.
But when I try to start amule via the console, then I can read the following text:

/home/Scyth/.kde/share/config/gtkrc:37: error: unexpected identifier `gtk-alternative-button-order', expected keyword - e.g. `style'
Initialising aMule
Checking if there is an instance already running...
Credits: Failed to load creditfile
*** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x085fa7a8 ***
Abgebrochen

Can anyone help me? I'd appriciate it really   :baby:   :P

1st of all you seem to have some strange gtk config
maybe try to make a normal one, you probably changed this in the kde-controll center

maybe this strange theme is causing the mem corruption.

if this does not fix it, tell me what rpms did you install?
