Problem with Webserver
« on: November 03, 2005, 08:00:36 AM »

Hi guys

I just wanted to compile Amule from CVS enabeling webserver support. I compiled using

--enable-optimize
--enable-kad-compile
--enable-webserver
--enable-webservergui

Now amule runs with no proplems, except that when i start it and enble webserver support, the program gives me an error message, saying that it cant start the webserver, and thet i should install it. What have i done wrong :(?

well 1st --> wrong forum ;)

2nd --> is it just saying it did not start?! or did it really not start?! we had some "false" reports from amuled saying he did not start amuleweb altho he started it....

so maybe check with ps ax | grep amule what is really running

3rd --> if it is really NOT running, check taht amuleweb(from the cvs tarball) is in PATH, so amuled can find it....

4th --> check your config, so that you have all md5sum passwords, enabled TCP-socket, and stuff like that for a guide
