Cannot download from eD2000 client
« on: November 09, 2005, 10:23:50 PM »

Hi,
following wiki suggestion I'm trying to import my eDonkey2000 parts to my brand new aMule.I set up a 17.7 lugdunum server,I removed the "FilterLanIp" pref from aMule and I connected both my clients to server. With aMule search is fine,I can find the files I'm downloading with eDonkey, the problem is that when I download them with aMule it cannot find any sources, meanwhile 1 source was found during search.I do can download files shared in aMule with eDonkey.,but not the oppsite,so I don't believe is a eDonkey filtering problem.
Any clue?
This is quite frustrating,I set up the whole thing ( remote ed2k handling, web serer ,nat) and what it seemed to me the easiest thing isn't working...

Have you unchecked preferences->security->filter LAN-IP in aMule?

Hi and thanks for fast reply,
yes I did disable lan filtering ,actually to be sure I disabled all the filterings...

This is quiete odd...
I've made some experiments, and it seems that the server sees both clients correctly,I downloaded a file from eDonkey and aMule uploades it correctly.Searching for that file on both clients leads to 2 sources found.
With aMule I have High Id and lugdunum tells the same for both clients, however when I boot aMule from command line I get the following:

Code: [Select]
*** TCP socket (ECServer) listening on 0.0.0.0:4712
*** Server UDP socket (TCP+3) at 0.0.0.0:54665

*** Client UDP socket (extended eMule) at 0.0.0.0:54672

Have you tried adding the client as a source via a ed2k file link? See http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Ed2k_link
