fedora core 3 the journey begins - help please?
« on: December 03, 2005, 12:52:36 PM »

the help files (in the wiki) have me opening up 10 different pages and usually when i do this i end up screwing up majorly and having to re-install and give up on the idea. i thought this time i would ask the experts.

well im embarking on a journey to install amule on a fedora c3 default install (minimal install no x ) i wanted to install amule with the webserver features. i was wondering what do i need to get and install and read to do the most hassle free install so i can control this from another computer. what files would i need to have (currently have a default minimal install of fedora core 3) i have ssh running etc.

please help me out so i dont make another major mess. i want to learn something this time instead of just how to get free haircuts by ripping it out :P lol

thanks in advance all you kind hearted linux gurus. ( even a bunch of links would be great like: do this: http://link then this http://link etc ).

seriouslycgi.

Hi!

Looking to the amule wiki start main page you will find nearly every link you asked for.
Try this: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_Compile_In_RedHat-Fedora
and this: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/AMuleWeb

And probably use the search option in the wiki to gather more information.

Cheers,
