Topic: loads temp files from changed dir (/tmp) only when started by root (Read 2385 times)

Hi,
I want all users have shared temp dir for amule, so i created a amule dir in /tmp and now when i start amule as a normal user it outputs to console "Loading partfile [...] All partfiles Loaded" but nothing appeares in "Transfers". The only way to get it work is to start amule by root (ugly graphic

) but its useless coz only i know the password

.

Any ideas?
PS I forgot to say ive chmoded 777 temp dir...

Have you changed the temp dir setting for the other users?

sure i did, it even says "partfiles loaded", but nothing happends ;(

Omg i forgot about that 8o the files were owned by root hehe. I used chown and now it works! thx folks :baby:
