No requests for shared files!
« on: December 24, 2005, 12:24:14 AM »

Just upgraded old Suse 9.2 to SuSE 10.0 and updated old amule to amule 2.0.3...

...but I have troubles! Whenever I stablish a connection with a server I receive no requests for my shared files. I only receive requests for the files that I'm currently downloading :-¿? In fact clients on queue remain zero for a long time :-¿? I have TCP and UDP ports 4661, 4662, 4664 and 4672 opened in SuSE firewall. This is annoying because downloads start veeeryyy sloowly and I'm afraid that I will lose my high id (I'm still keeping high id, but not for a long time if this situation remains). Of course, after upgrading I deleted the file known.met forcing to rehash all of my files, but it didn't work (and in fact new files just downloaded with 2.0.3 receive no request next time I start amule after being fully downloaded). Please, could you give me some help?

Thanx in advanx!

Connect to a non-fake server, for a start.

Thanx for the info!

I "googled" amule+"fake server" and voilà! (the two first suggestions addressed me to headfucking.net). I'm just using http://headfucking.net/servermet/server.met after deleting server* from .aMule and downloaded ipfilter.dat from same http. Now, after conecting to the "real" Razorback it seems that everything is fine and amule starts working me (litle by litle).

Again, thank you very much!
