down arrow red (after 1 day up)
« on: December 29, 2005, 12:40:16 AM »

I've leaved my server on for 1 day and my down-arrow is RED!!!WHY!!!
I've on the lower bar:

- green man on the side of "users"
- two arrow one is pointing up (color: green) and one in pointing down (color: red)
- one world with green arrow on it in the lower right corner before the name of the server.

I've opened every door on my router (4662, 4672, 4665)

I ve uploaded 2.3 gb and downloaded 130 mb
I'm connected by a (tested) 4 mb adsl.

my download grafic is dead :( WHY!

I'm running amule 2.0.3 on ubuntu 5.1.0

Try amule CVS, it works better than 2.0.3

But, let me know, how many sources do you get for each download?

Maybe your upload is configured too high, therefore it kills the downloads.

Networking 101: When you download something, you should also send (upload) some messages to the computer that is uploading to you (the one you are downloading from). If the other computer cannot get these messages, your download fails. If you use too much your upload bandwidth, this can happen.

have you tried different port numbers? maybe your ISP throttles default ports.
