hi there,

given there would be a heterogenic network as this:

- 1 server running with Suse Linux
- 2 PCs and 1 Laptop using winXP
- a modded XBox with some debian distribution
- another Laptop using osX

so here's my question:


1.is it possible to have the amule core running on the server and to control it from any of the other computers in the network? (since that is what i am looking for  :] )
2.and if so, how does amule handle it if 3 people would be clicking around through three different computers?
3.is amule the right thing for such a purpose or doues anyone know another distribution, which would be more suitable for such purposes?

there are also some binaries provieded which include the daemon aswell if you dont want to compile check

there is also a remote-gui for windooze, or you can compile the remote-gui on the linux boxes
