aMaul und RedHat

Hallo Linux Gemeinde

Ich Versuche als Anfänger aMule auf meinen Linux RedaHat Enterprise zu Installieren, ich finde sehr viel How To`s jedoch finde ich keinen für die meine Version.
Deshalb frage ich euch könnt Ihr mir Tipps geben, oder Links welches aMule ich Installieren kann, und die RPMS also es ist für einen Anfänger haarsträubend, deshalb bin ich für jeden Tipp dankbar..

für dein Linux gibt es keine rpms, es sei denn du versuchst dein glück mit Fedora Core 3!!! nicht 4!! rpms, welche du viellecit über google findest.

ansonsten bleibt dir nur selbst compilieren.
am besten hier lesen:

und einfach schritt für schritt machen,
also wxGTK, und dannach aMule.

wenn du probleme hast einfach fragen :))

Das ging ja Schnell das deutet auf Qualität

Nun ich arbeite mit GNOME läuft das dann nach dem kompilieren und installieren, auch unter GNOME?

Ja es geht unter GNOME, in einem Terminal.
Dort die Befehle wie im Wiki ausführen.

Hallo

ich kann make install nicht durchführen erhalte folgenden fehler..


[root@dhcppc1 src]#
[root@dhcppc1 src]# cd wxGTK-2.6.2
[root@dhcppc1 wxGTK-2.6.2]# make install
make: *** Keine Regel, um »install« zu erstellen.  Schluss.

und ich finde keine aMule für RedHat ist die aMule-2.1.0.tar.gz das richtige File..

Link against the GTK version you have on your system (choose one):

    * Linked against GTK1: ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-gtk2 && make
    * Linked against GTK2: ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-gtk --enable-unicode --disable-compat24 --enable-optimise && make

bitte ALLES lesen ;)

und zur info du willst GTK2

ich hoffe du hast auch dei datei ersetz!! sonst macht es vor jedem aMule start "oops" und nix geht!

Das hab ich ja schon was heisst ob ich GTK2 will, ich will nur aMule das ist alles..
weiss doch nicht was GTK2 ist..

das du kein gcc installiert hast

yum install gcc g++

oder so ähnlich, warscheinlich musst du acuh noch ein paar andere sachen installieren

kleine erläuterung noch :)

wxGTK ist eine bibliothek die von aMule genutzt wird um zum "funktionieren"
da es für RHEL4 (redhat enterprise linux) keine rpms gibt, musst du als erstes die libary (wxGTK) bauen und dann aMule

dies kann auch ein wenig dauern :)

GTK ist quasie ein GUI framework, ejttz gibt es da eine alte version gtk1 und eine neue hübsche version gtk2.

Nach der Installation aller nötigen gcc g++ und rückblickend auf die schlaflosen stunden, erhalte ich nun die folgende Info..

yum install zlib zlib-devel gtk-devel libpng

nur mal so, die namen die ich da hinschreibe müssen nicht immer 100%tig stimmen, das variert mit der namensgebung von distribution zu distribution :))

und schon klar das es für dich als anfänger alles etwas hinderlich ist, aber ist leider nicht zu ändern wenn es keine binary packete gibt für dein System
