Hi dude!

Your deb package is missing any documentation or man page or a howto for
running the deamon, furthemore the daemon crashs when running as non root.
Would you please fix that!

About the docs:
amule-common (which is pulled in as a dependancy from any amule*-package) contains all manpages which are distributed with amule, including a (minimal) manpage for amuled. Writing documentation (including manpages) for an application is usually an ungrateful job, and at the moment there is nobody willing to do this job for amule. If you are willing to change that we are happy to include the manpages written by you in amule

Crashes:
Not much I can do about it, I only package amule, I'm not much of a coder. But since my amule package is compiled with debug information you might help the devs find out what the problem is if you are creating backtraces. It's not that hard and there is a HowTo about it on our wiki: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Backtraces

Well the manpage insn't more than explaining howto get the version number

I generally would like to know if it is possible to run amule (deamon) on console withiut any x and gtk  ?( That is what i want - to have it run on my router. Well i know about the security issues, but i have no choice.

The doc i found only says howto config and install the gui frontend client.
