Ip filtered or invalid
« on: March 21, 2006, 03:56:19 AM »

Hi,

I upgraded from amule 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 using a rpm package from freshrpms for  Fedora 4. Everything is working ok, but when I try to add a server the amule log tells me that the ip is filtered or invalid. Actually this only happens when I try to add an ip number starting with 80, I think this is strange because even when I dont use any ip filter this message keeps showing at amule log. Any ideia? Something is wrong here or the program is filtering any ip starting with 80 even without a ip filter set on?

You're probably tryiong to add a BigBang server (80.239.200.x). For security reasons, those are disabled on 2.1.1.

But there is a specific reason for doing that? Any problem with BigBang?

USA servers set up and monitored by RIAA and MPAA.
