High ID but no download
« on: March 23, 2006, 10:23:48 AM »

It's been a couple of weeks all users in Macau, regardless of the platform, get either low ID or high ID but absolutely no download. Any idea why this can happen? Curiousely, every time I travel to Taiwan, I can download in the hotel even in low ID and behind their firewall.....

maybe your ISP is blocking p2p traffic at home?

does upload work?

have you tryed changing the aMule-ports in preferences to some "non-standart" once?

Upload doesn't work neither.
But this problem only affects Amule, not the less known P2P sites. The funny thing is that even if nothing seems to be happening, I still have my Hi ID

wenn non standart ports are any ports different from the standard once :P

basically any ports different from 4662/tcp and 4672/udp

pick any port you like in your amule-preferences...except the once below 1024 those are for root
