wxSOCKET_LOST events
« on: April 08, 2006, 05:38:37 PM »

Hi,

Clients still have trouble connecting to me for uploads. Many only briefly connect and then the connection is dropped. When I enable debug logging, I get messages like this:

ED2k Client: --- Deleted client "Client XXX on IP:Port xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4662 using eMule v0.46b"; Reason was Client 'XXX' (IP:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)  caused a wxSOCKET_LOST event

Does anybody know what causes this? I have the latest wxWidgets library installed (2.6.3) and my firewall settings do not seem to matter. I think this affects my ability to download from those peers I drop, so I really would like to resolve this. Also, right now only a few clients get to download files from me, which I think is unfair.

Thanks for any help!

I doubt there is a problem

those eMule clients can upload from me fine...

its probably that they might just shut down their client or smth alike or your firewall setup is not ok
