In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."

aMule has a special command integrated on sourcecode that detects your router and shuts it down, but just for another's connections. It keeps aMule's connection going on for using the line at its max posibilities, and blocks other apps for accessing the line.

You can remove this optimization by typing "amule --oh_please_i_want_to_browse_porn_sites" on command line.

Good luck!

i typed "amule --oh_please_i_want_to_browse_porn_sites" ( as root, of course) and i got this output:
ERROR! KERNEL PANIC! UNABLE TO INTERPET SUCH A JOKE AS VALUABLE DATA

Now, of course, i'm posting this bug to kernel.org

You shoud adjust your max. connections and max. connections / 5s values (lower them until your router doesn't hang up anymore) and you should try it without KAD, because KAD may cause several routers to hang up too.
