« on: May 09, 2006, 10:34:09 PM »

How can i specify with interface in my computer must use amule?

the case is the next. In each interface i've got a internet connection. In one of the iv'got High ID and in the other not. Is posible that can be specified which interface use. Both of the connections use dhcp and get up the HIgh id one and connect my amule, then connect the other one but starts to use the low id connection and thats not right....

Anyone?

I wonder how you manage to route such a beast. Do you do load balancing?

It really does not make sense to choose an interface. When you bind to 0.0.0.0, you are saying that you accept connections from any interface. You get a lowid if the server is not able to reach you. But he tries to reach you using the same IP you used to reach him at first place. This IP is chosen by the kernel when routing between the two interfaces. So it is not really up to aMule to choose this, in fact, aMule does not choose an interface.

If you are really a portuguese speaker, as I believe you are, we can continue on the portuguese forum if you preffer. If you don't speak portuguese, forgive me please, it is just that we have an expression just like the one you used in english :)

Cheers!
