Bad Files

Hi guys... i got a little big problem with aMule on CentOS 4, any files that i download and reach to 100%, when i go to the incoming folder and try to open it... the file just give me a bad file error, like if the file was download incomplete or corrupted...

any idea???

PD: Zorry about my limited post, i got a limited english too  :]

First of all: You should really upgrade to wxGTK 2.6.3 (built against GTK2) and aMule 2.1.1
If I remember right, then you may use Fedora Core 3 Packages.

When the file is finished, it is checked by aMule, that it is really the file someone else published and then it will be moved to the incoming folder. Thus there *shouldn't* be a problem with the files.
Maybe these files were never 'good', this means someone published fake files which do not contain what the name says. You should try to open them with vlc media player or mplayer and an archive manager.

I hope this helps you a bit.

P.S. I recall that I already saw 'PD' instead of PS sometimes, but I don't remember where and which language. We have some (native) speakers for many languages here, maybe it's easier for you when you could use your mother tongue.

Back to the topic, i dont think in "fake files", i try dowloading like 63461547654 files and all are the same...
any way the problem its fixed now, was the version... thanks for all

I'm glad that this problem was so easily solved. If you prefer Spanish than you can ask in the Spanish forums as well.
