I have the exact same problem, when I double click on it you do get the amule icon bouncing on the dock station for a couple of seconds and then nothing.

I have mac Os x 10.2.8 and I download the binary amule.

Have looked at the compile options but seems to hard!!!

Please can anyone help us.

Thanks

Stew.

Version 2.0.2
version 2.0.1

does the same thing, it just bounces in the dock for a couple of seconds and then nothing.
Once when I was searching for a reason i came accross a amule error log file but now I can not find where it was!!

stewmeikle, 10.2.8 is not a version we support "out of the box".  The binary requires 10.3 or later. :(

However, it may be that aMule can be made to work on 10.2.x if it is compiled from source.  I don't have access to a 10.2.x system to try that, or on which to build a 10.2.x-compatible binary.  If you want to try, we can try to help you.  (Start a new thread with any questions.)

sergio, does this explain your problem, too?  Are you also using 10.2.x?  If not, please check the console.log just after trying to launch aMule.  You can use Applications -> Utilities -> Console to check the console.log.  If there are lines in the log that mention aMule or that look like aMule output, post them here.  If the console.log mentions a crash report, you should be able to find that with the Console program, too.  Post that here.
