stewmeikle, 10.2.8 is not a version we support "out of the box". The binary requires 10.3 or later.

However, it may be that aMule can be made to work on 10.2.x if it is compiled from source. I don't have access to a 10.2.x system to try that, or on which to build a 10.2.x-compatible binary. If you want to try, we can try to help you. (Start a new thread with any questions.)
sergio, does this explain your problem, too? Are you also using 10.2.x? If not, please check the console.log just after trying to launch aMule. You can use Applications -> Utilities -> Console to check the console.log. If there are lines in the log that mention aMule or that look like aMule output, post them here. If the console.log mentions a crash report, you should be able to find that with the Console program, too. Post that here.
