Problems with AMULE getting it to work at all...
« on: May 31, 2006, 08:28:20 PM »

Alright i just downloaded this program..I'm still not even totally sure what it is..a P2P Program? Like Limwire? What makes it better..or is it? Anyways..I open it up and it says "NO VALID SERVERS FOUND IN SERVER LIST" on the bottom..when i hit the a little button all the way on the top left..which i assume means connect.. it does this:

2006-05-31 13:25:01: Connecting
2006-05-31 13:25:01: No valid servers found in server list
2006-05-31 13:25:01: Read 0 Kad contacts

What should i do?

I'm on Mac os 10.4.6..

well its a lot different, limewire is for small files like mp3, ed2k and kad network are for bigger and more rare files,
download for example will take a while to start, and because its for big files it will take some time to fire up, so if you want instant 200kB download use torrent or smth...

if you want to knwo the difference between limewire and *mule you better use google, there are definetly some better explanations

about your server list problem you better read some guides on howto use the programm or search the forum a little, since you are definetly not the first to ask that

a few guied and infos on ed2k and kad network
