My hard drive got down below 100 mb of data so I deleted 3gb of shared files from my shared directory. The problem is that my hard drive still reported having less than 100 mb of free disk space.  I left amule running for another hour and it still didn't come back.  

I closed amule to see if it would fix the problem and while it was shutting down, amule seg faulted after it was finished saving rare sources.  Once amule was closed, the disk space came back.

amule (like emule does) looks how many GB r needed by your files in the dl ..

I think you are referring to "Checkdiskspace" right?  I have that disabled.  This was actually a problem where my disk space on my drive wasn't clearing up until after I closed aMule.  I didn't have enough downloads in progress to require 3GB of allocated disk space.

This problem has never happened on previous versions of aMule and it doesn't happen regularly on this version, but if something was changed in this version dealing with how aMule interacts with the filesystem, you might want to check what can cause this bug.

Please check rc2. This is a strange bug, in fact such bug doesn't appear, IMHO, to be related to aMule.
