I can't manual connect in webinterface 20050302 with unicode to a server. I tested it in the past and it doesn't work too but I thought that it was my fault. If I click on the lightning on Razorback 2 - I can't connect. Amulweb says Now connection but nothing happens. Ok, maybe this on is full. I test the next and next etc. and nothing happens. If I press Disconnect nothing happens too. Amuleweb says only Now connecting. The only serverfunction that works one times in the past was connect to any server. I have no lowid and I don't connect often to another server, how could I , so this should be a aMule issue. I can't delete servers too.
Maybe it is possible that some servers block amule because of CVS version because amuled always connect on start to Donkey Server No 1 but I can't connect to it manual?
After manual connect I can't use "connect to any server" too.

By the way if I load the serverlist in Firefox 1.0.1 it uses on my 1,6 GHZ P4 100% cpu for 10 seconds. The list isn't so big? I never seen that before on an other site? Has ist something to do with the gzip compression? Gzip is very fast and bad ?!

Another Bug. If I click clear completed without completed files or with one hashed, I am not sure (I can't see the progressbar images) I get logouted. I can login after that but the same procedure happens if I click clear completed again.

I use wxGTK 2.5.4 with unicode.

About serverlist issues: everything works here pretty good. I can manually connect to servers, can delete servers from the list and can disconnect. Your problem might be because when you try to connect to a server, and it fails, aMule keeps trying to connect to other servers, until it can finally connect to some server. You cannot stop this process with 'Disconnect', because it's not connected yet :] This process can be followed nicely on the Log page (since I fixed it). 'Connect to any server' won't work, again, because no need to start connecting when we're already connecting....

It surely does nothing to do with gzip compression. I have approx. the same machine you descibed, (a bit lesser category), serverlist has ~80-90 items, and loading it takes less than 2 seconds from clicking on the link. Though I should mention that I don't use FireFox, never used it, but I don't think that the problem is related to it.

Can you pleas fix or change it. I think this is logical and I am pretty sure that if I click disconnect in eMule, while a connection attemp is running, it will be canceld.

Thanks. The log seems to work again but throug this I have the prove that manual server connect doesn't work for me . I get the follow message if I want to connect to Razorback:

And there stands always now connecting as I described in this thread. After this connect I can't connect to anything. Nothing is logged if I click on manual connect of other servers. And I still can't remove servers. Maybe my serverlist has wrong entries or it has something to do with unicode?


I use amuled 20050307 and wxWidgets 2.5.4 with unicode.
By the way the transferimages have still a wrong adress so I can't see them.

The high cpu load has something to do with Firefox. I get the same usage on an windows pc with Firefox.

Does anyone know something about this? I have now removed the server.met file. Maybe it have wrong entries.
Removing of Servers doesn't work. Even if I am normal connected.
